September 2, 2022

Dear Tillery Parents and Families,

Happy September! We have had an exciting few weeks back at school and we are all back into our back-to-school routine. Thank you to all of you for your cooperation and patience as we
navigate car lines, drop-off, pick-up, lunch ordering, and aftercare.

By now, you should have received our Parent Handbook via email and our Technology Policy through your child’s teacher. Please make sure to sign these and send them back to school.

I hope you can all join us on Thursday evening from 5 pm -7 pm for our Annual Back-to-School Night. This night is meant for parents to visit their child’s classrooms to find out more about our curriculum, events that will happen throughout the year, and a better understanding of what the expectations are while your child is at school.

As a reminder, please be on time to school, and the designated bus stops that your students use. It is also imperative that students are at school for the entire day. The instructional day starts at 7:50 and goes through 3:00 pm. Excessive tardies and early dismissals amount to lost learning time and disruptions with the students learning. Thank you in advance for your understanding of this matter.

The first two weeks of school have been successful, thanks to all of you and our amazing faculty and staff. We are looking forward to the 2022-2023 school year and all that it has in store for us.

As always, please reach out with questions and concerns.

Enjoy your holiday weekend,

Respectfully,

Teresa Harrison
