Tillery Charter Academy will utilize Omella, which provides a simple ordering form. Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch will receive a unique password to enter to access their lunch order form. All payments are due in full. Any order not paid for in full will NOT be processed. No orders will be accepted after the deadline. Any falsifications under the free or reduced lunch portal may result in disqualification from the school’s lunch program.

After School Program
TCA After School Care is available as a fee-based extension of the school day from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. The cost for After School Care is $10.00 per day/per student. Parents must pick up student(s) before 6:00pm.
There is a drop-in (day of) rate for After School Care is $15.00 per day/per student for last minute scheduling with the school. Parents must call the school office if a student needs to attend After School Care and is not scheduled through online scheduling and payment system.
For students that attend after school regularly, an after school care form must be completed by a parent. This form includes our policy agreement and emergency contact numbers. Parents must schedule and pay for their After School Care days they are utilizing every two weeks in advance through an online schedule and payment program (Omella).

NOTICE OF PARENT LEGAL RIGHTS
North Carolina General Statute §115C-76.25 provides a list of parental legal rights. While pre-existing OHCS Board policy addresses many of these rights, future changes in Board policy to address these rights will be added to this notice.
- The right to consent or withhold consent for participation in reproductive health and safety education programs, consistent with the requirements of N.C.G.S. § l 15C-81.30.
- The right to seek a medical or religious exemption from immunization requirements, consistent with the requirements of N.C.G.S. §§ G.S. 130A-156 and 130A-157.
- The right to review statewide standardized assessment results as part of the State report card.
- The right to request an evaluation of their child for an academically or intellectually gifted program, or for identification as a child with a disability, as provided in Article 9 of Chapter 115C of the North Carolina General Statues.
- The right to inspect and purchase public school unit textbooks and other supplementary instructional materials, as provided in Part 3 of Article 8 of 21 Chapter 115C of the North Carolina General Statutes.
- The right to access information relating to the Board’s policies for promotion or retention, including high school graduation requirements.
- The right to receive student report cards on a regular basis that clearly depict and grade the student’s academic performance in each class or course, the student’s conduct, and the student’s attendance.
- The right to access information relating to the State public education system, State standards, report card requirements, attendance requirements, and textbook requirements.
- The right to participate in parent-teacher organizations. This information will be provided directly from the parent-teacher organization.
- The right to opt into certain data collection for their child.
- The right for students to participate in protected student information surveys only with parental consent.
- The right to review all available records of materials their child has borrowed from the school library.
