Leslie King, Teacher
I am excited about the door that has opened for me, here at Tillery Charter Academy. With my experience and passion working with children will help me on this journey. After working in Pre-K for twelve years and with my Bachelors in early education, this will give me the tools to being a successful Kindergarten teacher. My passion is working with children and with that makes me an advocate for them. To always believe in them, show encouragement, and have a voice for them. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.

Catherine Holmes, Art Teacher
Hey there! My name is Catherine Holmes, and I am excited to share the world of art with the students at Tillery Charter Academy! I was born and raised in North Carolina and am a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. Art and art history have always been my passions. I taught at a charter school in Union County for several years prior to moving to Moore County with my family. My husband and I have a teenage son, a daughter who is a rising third grader, and a goofy dog named Bilbo. When I am not in the classroom, I like long walks, hot yoga, gardening, and entertaining family and friends. I am looking forward to guiding the students of Tillery Charter Academy to explore, discover the world around them, and create through the lens of art and art history!
